Marketing Week

October 8-14, 2023

During the 2023-2024 AMA National Marketing Week, the New York City AMA Chapter at Pace University organized a series of events from October 8th to October 14th. Our aim was to showcase the significance of marketing across all career fields and to reinforce inclusivity within our Chapter's majors. We wanted to create opportunities for our members to learn new skills and build relationships that they can leverage during the upcoming internship season. To achieve our goals, we hosted a range of events that catered to the diverse interests of our members. For instance, we organized a panel of student interns who shared their experiences and insights on how to succeed in the marketing industry. We also invited keynote speakers from the PR and Fashion Industries who shared their expertise on branding oneself and representing oneself professionally. In addition, we were committed to advancing our DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and engagement initiatives this year. To this end, we organized three events, including donations to GrowNYC, Women Who Launch, and other organizations that align with our values. We believe that transparency, action, and professional development are key to achieving our Chapter's future goals, and we made sure that these values were reflected in all our events. Overall, the 2023-2024 AMA National Marketing Week was a success, and we were glad to have contributed to it.
